My Review
If you loved “Lost in Darkness” you will love this story! I am loving this series. I read this book in a day and a quarter. I was hooked from the first chapter and didn’t want to stop reading! Sir James Morgan, is thought to be a vampire by the towns people and of course it doesn’t help that Albin Mallow is spreading this tale. Why? Because he wants/needs to marry Rosa Edwards and she won’t have him instead she is enamored with Sir James. Odd things are happening in the town like sheep being killed with gnashes to their throats and this started happening when Sir James came to town. And why does he not go out in the sun unless he is completely covered?
Like I said I really enjoyed this story. Somewhat mysterious, and gothic tale of a man thought to be a vampire, but is not. Rosa is intrigued by him and helps him with finding a cure to his condition as well as his mother. She tries to educate those who can’t afford to use her father’s library so they will not believe in such nonsense as vampires and the like. I really liked her character. Sir James is such a great guy and a hero. I love how their relationship develops. I also like that Bram Stoker makes an appearance in the story. Overall great story and definitely recommend!
