His Grace's Governess by Jackie Killelea
My Review
Eleanor goes to work in Duke Edmund’s home as his niece’s governess. Not only has she captured little Rosie’s admiration, it seems Edmund can’t stop thinking about her either. Edmund and Eleanor both share the loss of a family member but Edmund even more so as he only has his niece left. And Rosie is just adorable. Edmund and Eleanor not only have the forbidden love trope happening but are both struggling with different issues. Eleanor with not feeling good enough from insults hurled at her in the past and Edmund is afraid to love again. I liked watching these two help each other and learn to open up and trust one another. I of course loved their relationship blossoming into romance. I also loved the butler Prumb and his knowing looks and eavesdropping. Also good Christian content. Overall, I enjoyed this story and I recommend!
